DETAILS
The Teide Cable Car (Teleférico del Teide) is one of Tenerife's most iconic attractions, offering a fast and comfortable way to reach the higher regions of Mount Teide without having to complete a long hike.

The lower station is located at an altitude of approximately 2,350 metres, from where the cabins ascend to 3,555 metres in around 8 minutes.

Near the upper station, several viewpoints and short walking trails offer breathtaking panoramic views of Tenerife’s volcanic landscapes, the surrounding Canary Islands, and, on clear days, the vast blue horizon of the Atlantic Ocean.

Using the cable car does not require any special physical preparation, making it an ideal option for families, senior visitors, and anyone wishing to experience the high-mountain environment of Teide National Park. Around the upper station, visitors can observe volcanic rock formations, lava flows, and Teide’s unique geological landscape up close.

This activity does not include access to the summit of Mount Teide. The Telesforo Bravo trail requires a separate permit, which is available only in limited numbers.

The Teide Cable Car is the perfect choice for those who wish to admire Tenerife’s most iconic natural landmark from above while reaching the vicinity of Spain’s highest peak quickly and comfortably.
