The History: The Show is a good choice if you are looking for a spectacular, international-level music and dance show in the south of Tenerife. This is not a classical concert and not a simple dance performance, but a large-scale journey through the history of music, with live performers, spectacular costumes, choreography, theatrical elements and acrobatic scenes.
Presented on the stage of the Auditorio Pirámide de Arona, History: The Show, also known as The Evolution of Music, brings to life the best-known eras and performers in the history of music. The production features 30 talented artists from 15 different countries, performing live to recreate some of the world’s most famous musical moments.
The show takes you through the musical eras from Mozart to Michael Jackson, while paying tribute to iconic names such as Beethoven, Caruso, Elvis, The Beatles, Queen, Abba and Pink Floyd. With spectacular audiovisual elements, lavish costumes and varied choreography, the audience travels from the Middle Ages to the present day: from the Renaissance, the atmosphere of the 1920s and the silent film era, all the way to soul, gospel, rock, musicals and film music.
The History: The Show is especially recommended for those who would like an easy-to-enjoy evening programme that can be followed without language knowledge. The production is built on music, visuals, dance and stage energy, so it works well for different age groups and nationalities.
