The Submarine Safaris is a good choice for those who would like to discover Tenerife’s underwater world but do not want to scuba dive, snorkel or enter deeper water.
Submarine Safaris offers a comfortable, dry, pregnancy-friendly, adult- and family-friendly way to discover a completely different side of the ocean.
During the programme, you can explore the underwater world of the Atlantic Ocean aboard a large submarine specifically designed to carry passengers - while staying dry and comfortable, without entering the water.
The submarine has an enclosed, pressure-controlled interior, so guests remain in a comfortable cabin throughout the dive. Through the large windows, you can observe the ocean’s marine life, the volcanic ocean floor and underwater shipwrecks at close range.
The complete programme lasts approximately 55 minutes, of which the submarine spends around 40 minutes underwater. During the dive, it descends to a depth of approximately 25-30 metres (approximately 82-98 feet), where the ocean floor is already located in this area. This upper ocean zone is particularly rich in marine life: sunlight still reaches this depth, so marine life is much more active here, with more fish, vegetation and underwater details to observe.

• the submarine is large, enclosed, but has a spacious cabin, with an interior most comparable to an aircraft cabin

• the best seats are usually at the front on the left-hand side in the direction of travel, ideally not directly under the air vents
