Siam Park is not simply a beach or a traditional water slide park, but the Loro Parque Group's 18.5-hectare (45.7-acre), full-day, Thai-themed water adventure park, which has been voted the world's best water park on several occasions. The park was created by Loro Parque founder Wolfgang Kiessling and his son Christoph Kiessling; construction began in 2004 and the gates opened in September 2008.

Christoph Kiessling was the visionary and designer behind the park, and received the approval of the Thai royal family to use the Siam name and Thai theme. The name Siam refers to Thailand's former name, and the park was officially inaugurated by Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The carefully designed buildings, bridges, waterfalls and tropical plants create a special setting from the moment visitors enter, while, out of respect, the park does not replicate Thailand's royal palaces, Buddhist temples or Buddha statues.

One of the park's greatest strengths is the exceptionally wide choice it offers, ranging from completely relaxing experiences to a serious adrenaline rush. The Mai Thai River is a lazy river approximately 1 kilometre (0.6 miles) long, while the white sandy area of Siam Beach and the artificial waves of the Wave Palace, reaching up to 3 metres (9.8 feet) high, provide a completely different atmosphere.

World-class slides await the most daring visitors. The Tower of Power, which is 28 metres (92 feet) high, offers an almost free-fall experience, Singha operates like a high-speed water coaster, and inside the Dragon's enormous funnel, riders can experience the feeling of weightlessness together on a shared inflatable tube. Saifa, Kinnaree, Vulcano and Patong Rapids are also among the park's most memorable attractions.

Families with children have not been forgotten either. Lost City welcomes children with 15 smaller slides, bridges, nets and waterfalls, while Sawasdee, Coco Beach and Bodhi Trail offer easier-to-use attractions for younger visitors. The attractions each child can use are determined not only by age but primarily by height.

The experience is enjoyable even if not every member of the group wants to go down the large slides. Sun loungers, parasols, relaxation areas, restaurants and bars allow everyone to alternate between active and quieter areas at their own pace. However, the park is enormous, hilly and has many stairs, so a full-day visit can also be physically tiring. Long queues can develop during popular periods, and even the Fast Pass does not eliminate all waiting.

Siam Park is ideal for those who want to experience world-class slides, shared family adventures and relaxing water areas in a single day. This experience offers enough variety for a full day, while it is important to take into account the height restrictions, the stairs leading up to the slides and the queues that can develop on busy days.

• during the summer high season, arrive between 9:00 (9 AM) and 9:20 (9:20 AM) so that you are already in the admission queue before opening
• on the busiest days, enter before the transfer buses arrive, because many visitors reach the lockers at the same time immediately afterwards
• if you want a Fast Pass Limited, ask about it immediately after entering because the daily allocation can sell out quickly
• be prepared for the fact that even Fast Pass does not completely eliminate queuing
• Fast Pass cannot be used for the Tower of Power or the Mai Thai River, so visit them after opening or at the end of the day
• first choose the attractions you definitely do not want to miss from Saifa, Singha, Kinnaree, Dragon and Vulcano
• the most popular slides are generally easier to access after opening and during the final hour than in the middle of the day
• have lunch at around 12:00 (12 noon) or after 14:30 (2:30 PM) to reduce the chance of encountering the longest restaurant queues
• choose a shared meeting point as soon as you arrive because the park is large and the signs are not clear at every junction
• take a photo of the park map so that you can also use it without an internet connection
• the area around Siam Beach can be a practical base because relaxation areas, food outlets and lockers are all located nearby
• make sure you bring water shoes because the surfaces become very hot in summer and walking barefoot all day is uncomfortable
• when visiting with a young child, measure their exact height in advance because a difference of just a few centimetres can determine access to several attractions
• if your group has an odd number of people, be aware that on multi-person slides the staff may complete the group with other visitors or divide your party
• head to the lockers and changing rooms at least 30 minutes before the park closes because queues can also form there at closing time
• if you need to return by a specific time, do not rely on the final free transfer bus because queues and road traffic may cause delays

CANCELLATION POLICY
1/ CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Once the booking has been confirmed and the tickets have been issued, the booking cannot be cancelled and the amount paid cannot be refunded.

Changing the visit date or the booking details is only possible by prior arrangement, with the provider's authorisation and subject to availability; changes cannot be guaranteed. For tickets and additional services whose conditions exclude changes, a different date cannot be requested.

2/ USING THE TICKET AT A LATER DATE
An unused standard park admission ticket may only be used at a later date in accordance with the validity conditions stated on the ticket and with the provider's prior approval. Missing the booked program date does not entitle you to a refund.

Date-specific tickets and additional services - such as the Fast Pass, All Inclusive, Champagne Club Bed, VIP Cabaña / Casa / Villa and return transfer - cannot automatically be moved to another date. Any change requires prior approval 72 hours before the program date, provided that the conditions of the specific service allow changes at all.

3/ TWIN TICKET
The Twin Ticket is non-refundable. The first park can be visited within the validity period stated on the ticket, but the second park must be visited within 15 days of the first admission.

If the 15-day usage deadline is missed, or if the original QR code or the intact wristband is not available, the second admission will be forfeited and the amount paid will not be refunded.

4/ CANCELLATION BY THE PROVIDER
If the provider cancels the entire booked program or a separately purchased additional service, you can choose from the following options:
a) the booking can be moved to another available date free of charge
b) the amount paid can be partly or fully credited towards booking another program
c) a voucher can be requested, which can be used for programs in the FINESTPASS™ range for 5 years from the date of issue
d) 100% of the amount paid for the cancelled program or service will be refunded

The temporary modification or closure of a slide, pool, restaurant, shop or other area of the park due to weather, technical, safety or operational reasons does not automatically constitute cancellation of the entire program and does not in itself entitle you to a refund.

5/ LATE ARRIVAL AND NO-SHOW
The standard admission ticket is not tied to an exact admission time, but arriving at opening time is recommended to explore the park fully and comfortably.

The return transfer is tied to an exact departure time. In the event of late arrival or no-show, the transfer will not wait for the participant, and the missed journey cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

The Fast Pass, All Inclusive, Champagne Club Bed and VIP Cabaña / Casa / Villa can only be used on the booked program date and during the park's opening hours. Arriving later or leaving the park earlier does not extend the usage period of the services, and unused parts cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

Children aged 0-15 may participate in the activity only when accompanied by an adult.

If a child entitled to free admission is also participating in the activity, select them in the number-of-participants selector above as well.

When choosing different types of admission tickets, the tickets or add-on tickets must be selected separately and then added to the cart.

The transfer ticket must be selected separately and then added to the cart.

The CHAMPAGNE CLUB BED and the CHAMPAGNE CLUB BED | all inclusive can only be booked by selecting 2 adult tickets; the price is the same for 1 or 2 participants. In addition to the 2 adult tickets, a maximum of 2 child tickets can be added to one unit.
