If you have long wanted to experience what it feels like to fly in the open air, but the running take-off of traditional paragliding does not appeal to you, Paratrike can be a particularly interesting choice. In the motorised, three-wheeled structure, you set off seated behind the pilot, and you return in the same way, seated - there is no need to run, so from the very first moment your attention can be on the flight and the panorama.
From above, the landscapes of southern Tenerife reveal a completely different side. Depending on the flight you choose, the coastline of Costa Adeje, the Atlantic Ocean, beaches and volcanic coastal stretches, or the mountain area of Adeje, deep valleys and steep mountainsides may unfold beneath you. If you are looking for the most varied scenery possible, you can also choose a route that combines coastal and mountain panoramas within a single flight.
One of the greatest advantages of the paratrike - that is, the seated, wheeled version of powered paragliding - is that, with the help of the motor, the pilot is less dependent on natural updrafts, and the flight duration and route can be shaped more precisely. However, the weather still remains a determining factor: the exact conditions on the day always decide which area can actually be covered.
You can choose from several types of flight. The 20-minute coastal option focuses primarily on the ocean panorama of Costa Adeje, the 25-minute mountain flight takes you over the higher-lying landscapes of Adeje, while the 30-minute combined route shows you both worlds. The longest, 60-minute option is designed to extend the flight towards the spectacular cliffs of Los Gigantes.
If not only the panorama but also a more intense flying experience appeals to you, a separate acrobatic option is also available. This is specifically for those who, alongside a calmer flight, would also like to experience more dynamic turns, descents and manoeuvres.
You do not need any previous experience for the flight, and neither take-off nor landing requires running.
The motor is naturally audible during the flight, so you will be given a special noise-reducing helmet. Thanks to the built-in communication system, you can also speak with the pilot during the flight. The use of your own phone or camera in the air is not permitted, but the pilots can take photos and videos with a fixed camera, which can be purchased as an additional service.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAMME WORK?
Arrival: you arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start time
Check-in: after checking the required information and your booking, the team prepares you for the flight
Safety briefing: the pilot explains the take-off and landing procedure, what to do during the flight and the instructions you need to follow
Equipment: you receive the necessary safety equipment and a noise-reducing helmet equipped with a communication system
Take-off: you take your seat in the paratrike, then with the help of the motor you take off while seated, without running
Flight: depending on the ticket selected, you spend approx. 20, 25, 30 or 60 minutes in the air; the route is determined by the selected flight type and the conditions on the day
Landing: you return seated on the wheels of the paratrike
At the end of the programme: if requested, the photo and video material produced by the provider can be purchased separately; if a transfer was required for the flight, you will be taken back to the meeting point

• children aged 8-17 require written permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate
• a child should only participate if they personally want to fly, are able to communicate and understand the pilot's instructions
• participation in the programme is only possible on the exact date and at the exact time specified in the booking
• arrival 10 minutes before the programme starts is recommended
• participation in the programme requires a basic level of language knowledge
• every participant must arrive sober for the programme
• no previous paratrike, paragliding or other flying experience is required
• following the safety briefing and the pilot's instructions is mandatory
• the paratrike can carry a maximum of 1 passenger, therefore a maximum of 1 pax can participate at each time slot; multiple participants can complete the programme one after another
